Role : I was the lead google search marketer for this client

The client objective needed more leads for their printing services. They had specific keyword to drive traffic from google to their website. I created keyword research based on search volume and documented into spreadsheet before launching campaign.

The challenges encountered was the website speed needed to be optimised, I told the client to have their website developer to rectify it as it will cause the ads to drop performance and user experience. They addressed it immediately.

Solution

Broad match was used for the first week with the budget of $85 per day, looking at the search terms in google ads manager, select all the not relevant keywords into negative keyword list. The performing keywords let it run.

Daily KPI, track our ads performance were :

1. CPC (Cost per link clicks)

2. CTR (Click Through Rate)

3. Quality Score

4. Expected CTR

5. Landing Page Experience

6. Ad relevance

Open google display network ads and also did remarketing campaign. The following month the client was getting consistent leads that converted in to sales. Increased the budget from $3K to $5K
